Did they have "scientific evidence" to suggest that a teenager (in a bathing suit) covering herself in manure would be an effective form of activism? DxE (Direct Action Everywhere) was founded with the promise that DxE's methods would be BETTER than P.E.T.A., because they'd be based in "social science research… but now they just do the same sort of publicity-seeking stunts P.E.T.A. always did. DxE is "not an organization" with "no leaders"… and is definitely "not a cult"… and yet it does indeed have a leader named Wayne, who promised he'd be so much better than P.E.T.A. thanks to those "scientific" methods he'd learned… but, instead, it really is just more teenagers in bikinis, and boasts about going to jail / ending up behind bars, for one publicity stunt or another. Yeah, this could have been titled, "Why I hate vegan activism in 2019", or just "vegan cringe compilation", I suppose, but it's a slightly philosophical discussion about the teenagers of Direct Action Everywhere, and the fully grown people who seem to exploit them for self-promotion. #vegancringe #veganactivism #veganism
