As Stannis Baratheon said, a good deed does not wash out the bad: I can't believe we've got vegans pretending that it's a valid argument to say, "Yeah, well, I donate money to charity, THEREFORE…" Please. I don't care if you donate to charity, and I don't care if you own the charity: that doesn't dispose of the basic premise of ethical veganism, and, in fact, it's completely spurious to everything Sorsha had to say.

A look at what being "anti-vivisection" really means (in 2016) forces us to reflect on the recent history of animal-rights extremism, and its long-term implications for the future of the vegan movement.
